This was recommended to me by my friend, Fearegon. This was pretty good, and solid. It did put me on the edge of my seat a few times and I did get spooked.

I did get lost at the end there, but I am keen to see what more comes from you! Keep up the good work. Here is my gameplay!

I’m surprised no one else has mentioned getting lost, that was my main concern! Glad you (and your friend) liked it!

i definitely got lost. After finding those corpses, I went into the woods area and couldn't find my way out haha.

It took me a little time to find a lamp post at least

here is my video of the gameplay. Thanks for making the game.

Love creepy campsites and noises in the woods… Great job! 3rd game I played in this weeks 3 SCARY GAMES‼️

Amazing short horror game that really keeps the tense atmosphere the whole time! Great job!

For your first horror game ever, this was quite good, I liked it a lot. I do wish the illumination from the lightning strikes had been used more, to maybe hide the monster amongst the trees or something subtle like that. But as it was, it was already quite eerie and unsettling. Though for future horror games, maybe having a better flashlight would be nice hahaha. Still, this was quite fun to play so good job on your first horror game! Your game is the second one on my video and it starts at 6:27

Yeah, the lighting was a HUGE issue for me the entire way through. Definitely something to work on, thanks for the feedback!

Really Enjoyed It

Nice game.

Very unsettling game! one of the best and more unsettling games that I have played in a long time. It did a very good job of making me feel like I was being watched the entire time. I also found the mystery of what happened to the campers to be super interesting as well.  I really hope that you make more games like this.

Hello, I played this game, and I really enjoyed it! Good work :)

Awesome game :)

Very accommodating pace and ambience to build up to the suspense. Good job dev!

The monster in this game was really creepy, repeating the last words of the victims it killed

Acampar em florestas sempre foi uma atividade um tanto radical, mas na natureza, ao mundo afora, no horário da noite, é onde residem todas as criaturas que não conhecemos.

MAS! Você hoje planejando acampar na floresta sombria, veja isto:

the footsteps spooked me

Hey, a really cool game, would be an honor for us if you'd consider joining us as, we're looking for talented indie creators for games, tools, assets, zines, books, ect for a massive a co-op bundle, where we want to include 300 items at least.. If you would like to join us it would be awesome! https://itch.io/jam/ultimate-300-bundle-submissions best regards & peace <3

I submitted two games and a music track I made, thanks for letting me know about this :)

Awesome, glad to have you on board :) thanks

Kaget banget di akhir taunya dia muncul dari depan kirain bakal muncul di belakang.

This was a very cool first horror game. I really liked the ambience in the woods and the constant feeling that there's someone or someTHING watching me. If you want some feedback on improvements, maybe you can look at the music. It's constantly the same and even though it contributed to the scary atmosphere I think it would help if there were moments of pure cold silence. The background music also conflicted with the radio tune in the Ranger's Shack. I made a Let's Play video showing my experience. Hope my feedback helps and I would love to see more horror games!

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I’ll definitely be sure to work on the sound design and music atmosphere next time!

For your first game, this is very well done!
I played many a horror games and this especially gave me the skincrawling experience I am longing for!
Well done and keep up the good scares!
It's the second game in my video.

For a first horror game, this was not too bad. The build up was nice and did get a creepy feeling here and there. I can't wait to see what you make in the future. Good job!

(+1)

For your first horror game, I'm impressed! Atmosphere and sound design was awesome and really made me anxious lol. Short and simple but very effective story telling! I hope you make more horror games :)
(+1)

had a lot of fun with this one!!

(+1)

This had everything I wanted going into it, a spooky atmosphere, some brutal murders, and a chase in the dark **chefs kiss** (Lurking Darkness is the first game on the video)

Thanks for the nice words! I do read all the comments, but I’ll usually only reply if there’s a question to respond to! The engine is Unity btw :)

Is it intended that you can get outside of the map at the end? Is there kind of easteregg?
